At first glance, the above photograph looks like nothing more than a desolate Canadian countryside. But, if you look closer–and as the subsequent images prove–there’s much more than meets the eye. Believe it or not, what appears as distant patches of grass are actually 550 sheep hiding in plain sight! A farmer named Liezel Kennedy snapped several pictures of her flock in Saskatchewan, demonstrating that they’re masters of disguise that perfectly blend in with their surroundings.
These photos came about one morning when Kennedy woke up, looked out the window, and thought her flock had run off. “I drove right by them the first time,” she told BuzzFeed Canada. Kennedy finally saw them once she was 50 feet away.
