Gorgeous Surfboards and Skate Decks Completely Cloaked in Famous Classical Artworks

Surfing and skateboarding culture has gone classical in this beautiful collaboration. As a continuation of their period-themed boards, Boom-art has joined forces with the European surf company UWL to create 504, a series of surfboards and skate decks featuring the work of renowned artists Jan Davidsz. de Heem (1606 – 1684) and Gustav Klimt (1862 – 1918). The boards with de Heem’s work feature his dramatic flower arrangements while Klimt’s pieces include his signature figures and patterning, depicting his most famous work, The Kiss.

Every surfboard and skate deck is handcrafted by UWL. They’re made in limited editions of 10 and are individually numbered. Each comes with a certificate of manufacture, carrying case, and hooks for exhibiting the artwork on the wall. In the case of surfboards, fins are included, too.
