Adorable Baby Panther Chameleon Still Thinks Its in the Egg Seconds After Its Born

When panther chameleons grow up, their amazing camouflage features bright, beautiful colors (as seen in the last photo). However, when they are born, they’re less colorful yet incredibly adorable.

The people over at Canvas Chameleons state, “Ever wonder how they squeeze into those tiny eggs? Here is a baby Panther only seconds old that didn’t realize he was out of the egg.” When asked for more details, they replied, “I had to help him out of the egg. I don’t believe he would have been able to do it on his own as it didn’t pip correctly so I helped him out.”

Male panther chameleons typically grow around 17 inches (43 cm) in length, while females are smaller, at about half the size. With this baby curled up in fetal position, the photos capture a truly incredible moment of life. “Our Chameleons enter the world as a blank canvas, and transform into a piece of art,” Canvas Chameleons explains.
