One of the things I love seeing is an adult’s opinion of what a modern day monster would look like. Monsters are a part of our childhood, they’re what we feared was under our bed at night or lurking around a dark corner, ready to grab one of our limbs and tear us apart. As we got older, the monsters slowly start to disappear. The scary ones were banished from our thoughts and the friendly ones found new homes in young, impressionable minds. Or…here’s another thought. These are 25 ways that have me believing that monsters actually never left our side. Perhaps they just live amongst us, hoping and waiting to emerge through art.
